Composition:\
Esomeprazole 40 mg + Sodium Chloride 0.9% w/v in Water for Injections 5 mL. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the production of stomach acid.

Uses:\
Used to treat conditions caused by excess stomach acid, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive oesophagitis, and peptic ulcers. It may also be used to reduce the risk of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in certain hospitalised patients, as prescribed by a doctor.

How to Use:\
This medicine is given by intravenous injection or infusion by a qualified healthcare professional. The dose and duration depend on the condition being treated and your medical needs. Do not self-administer.

Precautions & Warnings:\
Tell your doctor if you have liver disease, osteoporosis, low magnesium levels, or a history of vitamin B12 deficiency. Long-term use may increase the risk of certain infections, fractures, low magnesium levels, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Inform your doctor about all medicines you take, particularly medicines such as clopidogrel, warfarin, digoxin, or certain HIV medicines.

Possible Side Effects:\
Headache, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, constipation, vomiting, or injection-site reactions may occur. Seek medical attention for severe or persistent diarrhoea, severe skin rash, swelling of the face or throat, difficulty breathing, or symptoms of low magnesium such as muscle spasms or abnormal heartbeat.
