Composition:
Cefoperazone 1 g + Sulbactam 500 mg.

Uses:
Used to treat serious bacterial infections, including certain infections of the lungs, urinary tract, abdomen, skin and soft tissues, bones and joints, and bloodstream. It is used only for infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

How to Use:
This medicine is administered by a healthcare professional as an intravenous or intramuscular injection. The dose and duration depend on the type and severity of infection, the patient’s condition, and kidney and liver function. Complete the prescribed course as directed.

Precautions & Warnings:
Inform your doctor if you have an allergy to penicillins, cephalosporins, or other antibiotics, liver disease, kidney disease, or a bleeding or clotting disorder. Cefoperazone may increase the risk of bleeding in some patients. Avoid alcohol during treatment and for several days after the last dose, as cefoperazone may cause a disulfiram-like reaction.

Possible Side Effects:
Possible side effects include diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, injection-site pain, and skin rash. Rarely, serious allergic reactions, severe diarrhoea, liver problems, or bleeding may occur. Seek immediate medical attention for breathing difficulty, severe rash, unusual bleeding, or persistent severe diarrhoea.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only when prescribed by a doctor after assessing the potential benefits and risks.
